introduction: Deer Oil is a scenario that describes possible realities about how things could be like in the border area between Norway and Russia 50 years from today. We wish to reflect on this scenario, question it, and would like to ask for your help and participation by answering some questions. So please, reply!

Deer Oil is one of three future scenarios about the Pomor Region that have been developed under the title Barents 2058 which is a project developed by the Bergen School of Architecture, Norway.

The three scenarios that conform this project will be exhibited in Nikel, Russia on saturday the 24th of January and in Kirkenes, Norway on saturday 31st of January. This space is a part of the exhibition of the project.
